Should SMEs Create Content?

In this Ask Tony column for CMSWatch, Tony Bryne asks content guru Lisa Welchman for advice on how to empower and encourage subject matter experts to create and publish their own content.

Lisa’s view: “Many subject matter experts know a lot but couldn’t write their way out of an alphabet test. Particularly when it comes to writing for the Web. You’ll want to take steps to ensure that the quality stays high once you do the hand off.”
