Apple Macintosh users are a loyal bunch—evangelists even—for the operating system and elegant, user-friendly design to which they have grown accustomed. It’s no wonder then that thousands of technical writers, editors and engineers who use the Macintosh are renewing their call for Adobe Systems to again produce a version of FrameMaker, Adobe’s popular technical documentation authoring and publishing tool. And, they’ve put a call out to others to join them in their quest.

Macintosh FrameMaker fans are putting pressure on both Apple Computer and Adobe Systems to again offer support for FrameMaker Mac users. To date, several thousand users have answered the call by signing the online petition and writing letters to both companies. Several Mac magazines have featured articles about the campaign.
