Move Over Microsoft: Google Offers Web-Based Authoring Tool

Google has taken another step toward dominating the information technology industry with the beta release of Writely, a web-based authoring tool that lets you create content without a desktop word processor. Currently, Writely is being moved to Google’s servers so you can’t take a test drive today.
