image If you’ve ever found yourself needing a set of symbols to depict hazards or warn consumers about dangers of other types, look no further than CPTec. The company maintain a free online library of symbols (.gif and .eps formats) that can be downloaded individually or as ZIP archives containing the complete symbol set.

Symbols and signs available:

  • Warning and danger
  • Mandatory action
  • Hazardous materials
  • Rescue
  • Fire protection

In many cases, references to standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI, SEMI) and regulations are provided.

And, if you can’t find what you want there, check out My Fonts, a low cost, online font library. Of particular interest are the Linotype Technical Pi family of fonts.
