LexisNexis, a leading global provider of business information solutions to professionals in a variety of areas, including legal, corporate, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, academic and risk & compliance assessment, is seeking candidates qualified for the role of Vice President, Global Branding and Operations. This person will be responsible for leading, managing and integrating the company’s brand and reputation strategy to significantly leverage the firm’s growth over the long term.  With responsibility for strategic brand development and communications, this executive will be the key architect and chief executor of a long term, strategic plan which effectively leverages a “best-in-class” brand positioning and drives the highest quality presentation and communication of the brand on a global basis.  The strategy will energize the strong LexisNexis® brand and reflect the transformation of the business from a legal research company to a customer-focused, total “solutions” provider in both Legal and Risk.

This Vice President will serve as the key advisor/counselor to the senior management team on the full spectrum of branding and communications issues including brand positioning, reputation strategy, crisis communications, media training and a range of issue-based and policy communications.  Importantly, this executive will also be responsible for building, leading and modeling best practices with a highly motivated, proactive and innovative team of branding and communications professionals around the world.  The Vice President will proactively drive the use of strategic marketing analytics and insights throughout the company with a focus on enhancing profitability across geographies.

The successful candidate for this Vice President, Global Branding and Communications position will be a change agent with at least 10 years of branding and communications management experience in large, multinational environments.  S/he will have enjoyed a successful career in “best-in-class,” global B2B companies or, alternatively, market-driven, global B2C organizations.  The ideal candidate will have approximately equal amounts of experience in both branding and communications within environments which required a high degree of salesmanship to bring marketing initiatives to fruition.  S/he will have successfully translated a brand identity into a reputational strategy and executed integrated marketing programs across multiple delivery channels.  The successful candidate will have proven success as an expansive, visionary, strategic thinker and an outstanding communicator with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to proactively make things happen.
