The Global Social Media Usage Survey Is The First of Its Kind And Should Help Us Better Understand How People In Countries Around The World Use Social Networking Services

Lionbridge, in conjunction with The Content Wrangler Community, is conducting a survey to learn which social networks you use the most, whether you’re using them for business and/or personal use, and to discover what languages you use when participating in social networking activities.

The survey [use this link if completing the survey from China] will take a maximum of 5 minutes to complete and has been translated into 18 languages. Your responses will be kept confidential. Only people directly involved with this project will have access to the individual surveys and data collected.

Feel free to pass the survey links along to your friends and co-workers so we can maximize global participation. We’ll send the results of our research to you if you’d like – there’s a spot for your email address at the end of the survey. The survey closes at 5pm ET January 31, 2010.

  1. There’s still time to participate in this survey. We have responses from over 60 countries. We think this is the first multilingual Social Media Survey to be conducted globally. Thanks for your help and pleas help spread the word. The results are proving to be very interesting and we’ll be sharing them with all participants.
