SDL DITA Fest 2010: DITA and The New Future of Customer Experience – October 13, 2010, Santa Clara, CA
The third annual SDL DITA Fest 2010: DITA and The New Future of Customer Experience, takes place October 13, 2010 in Santa Clara, CA. This free, one-day educational event is designed to teach content professionals how organizations around the globe are using the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) to structure, organize, and semantically-enhance the content they create to run their businesses.
This year’s event focuses on demonstrating how DITA can enhance and improve the customer experience and how using the topic-based content standard helps organizations become able to deliver the right content, to the right customers, at the right time, in the right format and language, and on the device of their choosing. In this day and age of constant connectivity, eBooks, apps, iPads and smart phones, consumers expect nothing less.
The event features keynote speaker, Ann Rockley, founder and president of The Rockley Group, who will discuss how DITA can help us reinvent technical documents.
Additional presenters include:
- MaryLee Grant – Senior Managaer, Information Development – Dell
- Neville Fleet – Senior Documentation Manager, Knowledge Management & Delivery, Cisco Systems
- Helen Cavender – Manager of Documentation, Knowledge Management & Delivery, Cisco Systems
